Seems to Me 03:26
What do you want me to say? That this whole world is boring? I refuse to live that way So I'm leaving here in the morning. It seems to me, this world, it keeps on rolling So why not stand on top of the world and roll? It seems to me, these waves, they keep on crashing So why not be the vessel to crash and roll? What do you want me to be? Another cog to support the molding? With these six strings and purple sharpie and things I'll write my own ending It seems to me, these cliff-sides, they keep on falling So why not stand on the edge, and let your heart drop? It seems to me, these rivers, they keep on flowing So why not let your hair down, let your mind flow? Why not let your hair down, let your mind flow?

Soon you’ll be standing in a tower that overlooks the world Looking down upon the sea Of people scouring to making a living Killing one another, killing to be free But what happens to all these machines When their cogs fill up with insecurities? We should be more careful Give them opportunity Because no one thinks of the machines No one cares for their wellbeing Just oil them and make sure they’re moderately clean No one thinks of the machines We toss them aside like they’re not one with us Assisting with everything we do Like dental care to health care to warfare And everything that we’ve been though Soon enough these gears will reverse Showing their teeth, taking over turf Because no one thinks of the machines No one cares for their wellbeing Just oil them and make sure they’re moderately clean No one thinks of the machines Some things are better left where they lie Please forgive me for parting my soul Our world is ending but life, son, Life must continue to grow Don’t forget to remember to be scared Or is it don’t forget to be scared to remember You are all the pieces of my soul Let these ruins be your riches, treat them like gold Because you will have to live with the machines You will have to better what has been Oil them and make sure they’re moderately clean You will have to live with the machines Because you will have to live with the machines You will have to better what has been Oil them and make sure they’re moderately clean You will have to live with the machines

These Somerset skies ain’t like nothing you’ve seen They’re torn from a book, they’re ripped from a dream They’ll fill up your heart, ‘till it bursts at the seams This dirt is my dirt, it wont dirty my feet It colours my thoughts, draws me away from city streets It helps me stay grounded makes me complete It’s been a long long time since I’ve seen this land of mine And it may not be a long return But in those evenings when I’m gone My heart wanders on And longs to be where those Somerset skies burn I’m embraced by the wind, it puts a hand on my face Gently gives me a shove in to a new unknown place And whispers as I turn come home safe It’s been a long long time since I’ve seen this land of mine And it may not be a long return But in those evenings when I’m gone My heart wanders on And longs to be where those Somerset skies burn It’s been a long long time since I’ve breathed in this land of mine And it may not be a long return But in those evenings when I’m gone My heart wanders on And longs to be where those Somerset skies burn.

Nelson Moon 02:27
Sun it rises As the moon holds high And the rolling hills shine As we clear our eyes Evolution Plays us out And the constellations They fade and shout

Mondayne 04:18
Well it’s Monday, and I’m broke And I don’t wanna look At my bank, or my insurance statement. I’m feeling down I feel like I’ve been around And this time I’m not sure I’m gonna make it Cause I’d rather work, out there in the dirt Than under these four walls, and fake it But I guess I can’t complain Cause I’ve got music in my veins And friends and family to help me make it. The water is clear today but tomorrow it might rain, Flood the rivers flood the plains As the sky planes fall again. The fall will come and winter stays and lays its dreary heavy daze The sun will rise with longer rays And our eyes, will see fountains And mountains And glaze At, The wonder of the watering can but can we drink the water again? Can we eat the wild meat The meat is stake as bales of feed And who will bail us out of debt when we are in a time of need These are the things I think of, see, But more importantly- Is that we all bleed the colour red, the colour of family trees, That root themselves In history Intertwined, are you and me We’ll get through this you’ll See. But, everything I fucking see, is plastic and fantasy Self esteem fatalities And automated factories And every time I ride the bus, the more who sit and sigh and push Another frown to victory Another day Another $D$ Well it’s Monday, and I’m broke And I don’t wanna look At my bank, or my insurance statement. I’m feeling down I feel like I’ve been around And this time I’m not sure I’m gonna make it Cause I’d rather work, out there in the dirt Than under these four walls, and fake it But I guess I can’t complain Cause I’ve got music in my veins And friends and family to help me make it. And keep me sane.
